1. Maripipi Island
Dubbed as “The Isle of Gems,” Maripipi Island is one of the most visited tourist spots on Biliran Island. It boasts towering mountains with lush forests and stunning white beaches with crystal-clear waters.
The most popular beach here is Candol Beach. Among the things you can do here are snorkeling, diving, swimming, fishing, camping, and a lot more.

2. Sambawan Island
Sambawan Island is among the top tourist spots in Biliran Island, owing to its rich marine life and pristine waters. As a result, divers love coming here to explore the seafloor.

3. Kasabangan Falls
Kasabangan Falls is a 20-feet wonder lazily cascading towards a naturally-built pool. Dense forests surround the waterfall, giving it a rustic view.

4. Agta Beach Resort
Agra Beach Resort is the most popular beach in Biliran Island. Because of the abundance of coral reefs and rich marine species, it is a favored snorkeling site.
Other activities you can do here are paddleboarding and kayaking. There are underwater gears you can rent plus you’ll surely love the accommodations here.

5. Tinago Falls
Tinago literally means “hidden” in the local term. The falls is named as such because it lies hidden deep in Caibiran forest. It is a must-see destination for those who want to experience nature.
The dense forests are home to endemic flora and fauna species. It takes 10 minutes of a hike from the highway to reach Tinago Falls.

6. Mainit Hot Spring
Mainit Hot Spring is one of the popular Biliran tourist spots. Here, there are man-made pools where you can take a dip and experience the relaxing effects of the thermal waters. These thermal waters also have healing properties.

7. Bagongbong Falls/Bagumbong Falls
Bagongbong Falls (Bagumbong Falls) is one of the off-beaten Biliran tourist spots. It is a 30-meter wonder cascading on the face of a cliff with verdant foliage. It has a very deep pool which offers a rejuvenating swim.

8. Higatangan Island
Higatangan Island appears like a giant tongue that stretches for more than 200 meters long. It is one of the bizarre tourist attractions on Biliran Island.
Here, you’ll find several beaches with fine sands and stunning limestone rock formations. There are also three resorts for those who want to stay overnight.

9. Ulan Ulan Falls
Ulan Ulan Falls is a breathtaking wonder in the midst of green foliage. The waterfall cascades like heavenly showers, spraying mists that would surely blow you away. It is one of the best waterfalls in Biliran.
Along the way going here, you’ll pass by another cascade called Sampaoan Falls.

10. Recoletos Falls
From Ulan Ulan Falls, take another 10-minute walk to reach Recoletos Falls. It may not be as high as the other cascades but it does have its own charm to offer. It carved a very deep pool with crystal-clear and icy-cold waters.
Ulan Ulan Falls is a can’t-miss tourist spot in Biliran. Towering trees surround the waterfall and from the surrounding cliffs, you can jump your way to the pool.

11. Sampaw Falls
Also known as Kitana Falls, Sampaw Falls is a favorite camping site of the locals.

12. Dalutan Island
Dalutan Island boasts creamy, white beaches and turquoise waters. Because of the thriving marine life, snorkeling and diving are my favorite activities here.
From one of the beaches, you can catch a breathtaking view of the surrounding islands and islets. It is usually included in some of Biliran Island’s tour packages.

13. Mount Tres Marias
Mount Tres Marias is one of the prominent hiking Biliran tourist spots. Trekking to the summit will lead you into dense rain forests, mossy forests, stunning waterfalls, and panoramic mountain views.
Expect to catch sight of unique flora and fauna species along the way. It rises to more than 1,315 meters above sea level.

14. Saob Falls
Saob Falls is one of the highest waterfalls on Biliran Island. It measures more than 50 meters high and lies hidden on a remote cliff. Verdant vegetation surrounds the waterfall, giving it an enchanting view.

15. Mount Panamao
Mount Panamao is one of the active volcanoes on Biliran Island. Locals have different tales and legends about the mountain. For them, the mountain is sacred and is inhabited by unseen deities and spirits. Mt Panamao last erupted in 1939. It is said to erupt every 139 years.

16. Mount Sayao
Mount Sayao is an inactive volcano rising to more than 938 meters above sea level. It is also a favorite hiking destination that will take you into pristine forests and crystal-clear streams and waterfalls.

17. Lico Rice Terraces
Who says that you can only find rice terraces in Banaue, Ifugao? Unknown to many, the island also hosts rice terraces located in Lico. These terraces signify the industry of the locals. Abundant water supply from the mountains irrigates these terraces all year round.

18. Kasabangan Falls Leisure Park
Kasabangan Falls Leisure Park is one of the most accessible tourist spots in Biliran Island. Among the things you can do here are family picnics, nature exploration, chasing waterfalls, and swimming. All in all, there are 12 cascades to see here.

19. Nasunugan Ruins
Nasunugan Ruins is a reconstruction of an old structure used as a watchtower against Muslim raids during the 18th century. When the community was razed to the ground, what was left of the watchtower were blocks of stones and corals. These were then used for reconstructing the structure in 2000.

20. Casiawan Falls
Casiawan Falls is one of the off-beaten Biliran tourist spots. Locals believe that fairies inhabit the waterfall. It has multiple layers, the highest of which measures around 120-feet high. Casiawan Falls cascades on a massive cliff surrounded by green foliages.
