Sagada has been one of my favorite getaways. If not exploring the caves or chasing its majestic waterfalls, I would go hiking its mountains and navigating wild terrains. There is just this sense of peace and fulfillment brewing whenever I get to witness its natural spectacles.

In this guide, I will share the Sagada tour packages offered by the Sagada Tourism Office. These are community-based initiatives, meaning, you’re helping boost the local economy when you avail of these.

Sagada Tour Packages for Caves

Sagada is home to the deepest cave systems in the Philippines, many of which remain unexplored up to this day. The most popular are Sumaguing Cave, Lumiang Cave, and Balangaan Cave.

Inside these caves, you’ll find stunning stalactite and stalagmite rock formations, crystal-clear pools, bats, and other wildlife. A memorable spelunking experience awaits you when you come to Sagada.

Sagada tour packages you should not miss

1. Cave Connection

  • Lumiang Burial Cave to Sumaguing Cave
  • Time Required: 3-4 hours
  • Guide Fee: Php 1000 for 2 visitors, Add Php 500 for every extra
  • Transportation Fee: Php 400 (two-way)
  • Tip: You can walk all the way to the cave to cut on transportation costs.

2. Sumaguing Cave/Short Course Caving

  • Time Required: 1 hour and 30 minutes
  • Guide Fee:
    • Php 800 for 4 persons or less
    • Php 900 for 5 persons
    • P 1,600 for 6-9 persons
    • Php 1,800 for 10 persons
    • P 2,400 for 11-12 persons
    • P 200 per person for a group of 13 or more

    • Php 650 for 4 visitors or less

Sagada Tour Package for Waterfalls

Sagada has some of the most iconic waterfalls in the country. Topping the list is Bomod-ok Falls, known as the Mother Falls due to its majestic height and splendor. Other accessible waterfalls in Sagada are Pongas Twin Falls, Bokong Falls, and Bumayyeng Falls.

Enjoy swimming on their crystal-clear pools or just sitting on the surrounding boulders as the waterfalls exude mists to caress you. It takes an extra dose of adventurous spirit and stamina, however, to reach most of them. But along the way, fascinating mountain views and rice terraces await you.

  • Guide Fee: Php 600 for 1-10 visitors

Don’t have the luxury of time to explore remote waterfalls and mountains in Sagada? No worries.

There are Sagada tourist spots that are just some minutes of walk from the town center. So if you’re traveling with your kids or seniors, hiking to these spots make up for an exercise and adventure at the same time.

Here are some of the Sagada tour packages for nearby tourist spots. Take note. You can skip this if you’ve already done it before.

1. Eco-Tour

  • Time Required: 3 hours of a loop hike
  • Attractions: Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Echo Valley, Hanging Coffins, Sagada Underground River Entrance
  • Guide Fee:
    • Php 800 for 10 persons or less
    • Php 1,600 for 11-20 persons
    • P 2,400 for 23-30 persons

2. Adventure Trail

  • Time Required: 3 hours of trek

Sagada Tour for Mountains

If you’re up for a thrilling adventure in the mountains, you’ve got them in Sagada. It may not have the highest of mountains but the views you’ll see are just as spectacular.

More often than not, you can chance on a breathtaking sea of clouds complementing mesmerizing sunrise views. The good thing about this? You don’t have to go extreme to catch these views.

Want to level up your adventure? Don’t miss out visiting the mossy forests of Sagada, located on the remoter mountains. Plus, expect to see different flora and fauna species.

Tips and Reminders

  1. Whether it’s your first time or not, you still need to proceed to Sagada Tourist Information Center to pay corresponding fees and avail of the tour packages.
  2. Please wear proper hiking clothes and shoes. No revealing clothes since you are in a cultural community.
