1. Panigan Underground River
Panigan Underground River is one of the off-beaten Sultan Kudarat tourist spots. Until today, however, you can only glimpse of cave’s mouth with its stunning stalactites.
Gushing out from the cave are cascading waterfalls forming numerous waterfalls. Nobody has yet to explore the inside of the cave. Who knows what wonders await?
To reach it, you need to trek on dense forests. Along the way, you’ll pass by several waterfalls where you can have a rejuvenating swim after seeing Panigan Underground River.

2. Sultan Kudarat Provincial Capitol
It is one of the top Sultan Kudarat tourist spots. Standing majestically like the Taj Mahal of India, this golden-domed structure will surely entice you for a peek.
Unlike most capitol buildings in the country, almost everything you’ll find here shows extravagance.
Inside, you’ll glimpse of high-end chandeliers, fine window drapes, and intricately designed seats and chairs. Here is a thing to know. It costed half a billion pesos to construct.

3. Tenobac Cave
Tenobac Cave is a spectacular river cave system similar to the famous Puerto Princesa Underground River. It has a total length of more than 7 kilometers.

4. Balot Island/Balet Island

6. Baras Bird Sanctuary
Baras Bird Sanctuary is home to more than 20 000 migratory birds. It was established in 2002 to protect the species. There were only four birds then and to everybody’s surprise, their numbers swelled very rapidly.
The sanctuary covers two hectares consisting of swamps, wetlands, and marshes. The commonly seen bird species here are the great egret, the Rufus night heron, and the intermediate egret.

7. Marawir Peak
With a height of 2,654 feet above sea level, Marawir Peak is one of the popular hiking spots in Sultan Kudarat. From the hiking base, however, the mountain’s altitude is around 577 feet.
This makes it a good training spot for newbie hikers. From it’s top, you’ll catch a panoramic view of the surrounding plains and forested mountains.

8. Lebak Katunggan Eco-Park
Lebak Katunggan Eco-Park features vast and old-grown mangrove forests covering more than 320 hectares. Here, you’ll find at least 26 mangrove species as well as a variety of bird and marine species.
During your visit, you’ll be riding a boat around the mangrove areas. You’ll feel like you are in the middle of Amazon because of the pristine environment.

9. Gregory Cave
Gregory Cave brims with stunning limestone rock formations. It contains several sizable rooms that you can access by crawling on your belly. Expect to get muddy as you navigate your way.

10. Tres Andanas Falls

Lush forests surround the waterfall, adding to the scenic view. Locals love to come here for picnic and other recreational activities. Adventurous visitors can climb from one of the surrounding cliffs and take a thrilling jump to the deep pool.

Sinapulan Underground River may not be as grand but it does have charming features to offer. What I love about it is its secluded location.

12. Ugis Peak
Ugis Peak is one of the prominent peaks of the Daguma Mountain Range. Known for its knife-edge peak, Ugis Peak rises to more than 930 meters above sea level.
For experienced hikers, trekking to the top is as easy as pie. But don’t let that stop you from coming. After all, it’s summit will reward you with magnificent views of the lowlands.

13. Setuloday Cave
Setuloday Cave has a total length of 1,897 meters though much of it remains unexplored. It contains several huge chambers with beautiful rock formations. It contains streams inside that you need to swim across at some point. There are two primary entrances to get inside the cave.
